Convened by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Strengthening Families Illinois is a collaborative partnership among more than 40 agencies, organizations, and parent leaders statewide.

Partners advance the initiative by:

• Incorporating Strengthening Families ideas and practices into their work
• Contributing financial resources to carrying out the work of Strengthening Families Illinois
• Dedicating staff time to serving on the Leadership Team for the project and the workgroups that guide the initiative: Building Resiliency, Communications, Evaluation, Hub Coordinator , Pilot Sites, and Professional Development and Training.
• Building public understanding of the Strengthening Families approach within their constituencies through their conferences, publications, and other communications activities.
