SFI Activities to Include in Your Proposals
Your SFI activities can help you meet the requirements of Illinois’ Prevention Initiative, Pre-K, and Preschool for All programs. When responding to an RFP for one of these programs, here are some activities from your SFI Implementation Plan that you can include:

- Classroom materials and resources
- Sample lesson plans including activities that promote the protective factors
- Strengthening Relationships with Parents
- SFI materials for parents
- Bringing SFI Love Is Not Enough Parent Cafés to your program or center
- Parent leadership team development through SFI parent training
- Raising Awareness of Commitment to Strengthening Families
- Strengthening Relationship with Child Welfare
- Collaborate with DCFS in embedding protective factors in child welfare programs and services
- Listing in DCFS Statewide Provider Database
