Background:
The Carole Robertson Center for Learning was one of the exemplary programs highlighted by the Center for the Study of Social Policy as they were developing the Strengthening Families approach in 2003. The network began in the North Lawndale / Little Village neighborhoods and has expanded to include citywide child welfare and early childhood services agencies and Chicago Public Schools Child Parent Centers.
