Training

SFI provides high-quality, effective training to help staff and parents strengthen families through the protective factors. Our training starts with the building on the individual’s passion for strengthening families and expands outward to change systems. SFI has worked with a variety of partners to develop state-of-the-art training programs that set the bar high—and help you reach it!

• For parents: SFI’s dynamic training sequence helps parents develop leadership skills, partner with programs, and strengthen their own families and others in their community and region.
• For staff: SFI’s continuum of professional development takes program staff through a process of learning, understanding, and putting the protective factors into practice in their programs and across systems.
